Inexpensive Compact All Grain Brewing Setup

Equipment
In this video I show and describe my home brewing equipment. This equipment was probably about as inexpensive as it could possibly be, given that it does five gallon all-grain batches of beer. The largest expense was the burners and pots, which are turkey friers from Wal-Mart. The mash tun is also from Wal-Mart. I think the Wal-Mart bill was about $130 or so. Then there’s lots of odds and ends from the hardware store, plus from US Plastics and BargainFittings.com. And then lots of leftover scraps of wood that I assembled to make it “compact”. The brewery fits on a short wall inside my garage. It’s a “four tier” system (if you count the carboy on the floor), all gravity fed (I do not pump the wort). It’s not fancy, but it works! Hope you enjoy the video.
