In this video I show and describe my home brewing equipment. This equipment was probably about as inexpensive as it could possibly be, given that it does five gallon all-grain batches of beer. The largest expense was the burners and pots, which are turkey friers from Wal-Mart. The mash tun is also from Wal-Mart. I think the Wal-Mart bill was about $130 or so. Then there’s lots of odds and ends from the hardware store, plus from US Plastics and BargainFittings.com. And then lots of leftover scraps of wood that I assembled to make it “compact”. The brewery fits on a short wall inside my garage. It’s a “four tier” system (if you count the carboy on the floor), all gravity fed (I do not pump the wort). It’s not fancy, but it works!
