American Wheat Beer with Raspberries – How To Brew Beer

An American Wheat beer is a little different from your typical German hefeweizen. There’s no banana or clove esters, and a little bit of hoppiness. In this video we show how to brew this beer, along with a surprise fruit addition.

Recipe:
8.0 oz Rice Hulls
6 lbs 2-row American Pale Malt
6 lbs Wheat Malt; White
0.75 oz Centennial Pellets – Boil 60.0 min
1.00 oz Centennial Pellets – Boil 0.0 min
1.00 oz Hallertauer Pellets – Boil 0.0 min
1.0 pkg California Ale (White Labs #WLP001)
Mash at 152F for 60 mins
Boil for 60 mins
